MOVEMENT IS JANKY but holding a direction button is faster than spamming the it!

How does the game fit the theme?  "Trust no one" was the theme. In this game once you move through the short introduction your family members start lying and tricking you into bad situations. You can only trust Noah.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?  All of the art was made during the game jam by our artist. Our code was written from scratch - the dialogue system, tile based movement and collision and everything else. No AI was used in the code either. Other than clarify engine specifics or help with vcs errors, none of the actual code was written or copy pasted through an llm.
